Neteller and Skrill casinos: deposits, payout times and bonus rules

Quick summary
Neteller and Skrill are both Paysafe wallets. 33 of the 40 active casinos in our review data list both. Our two timed e-wallet cashouts took 20 hours (Rizk, Neteller) and 18 hours (Betsafe, Skrill), with an 11-hour Betsafe re-test in June 2026. Before you deposit, check two things the casino's "no fees" line doesn't cover: whether the welcome offer accepts a wallet deposit, and what the wallet charges to move money back to your bank. 18+ only.

Neteller and Skrill are e-wallets run by the same company, Paysafe, and most sites we review take both: 33 of the 40 active casinos in our data list the pair. Our two recorded e-wallet withdrawals took 20 hours at Rizk (Neteller) and 18 hours at Betsafe (Skrill), and 11 hours when we repeated the Betsafe test in June 2026. Finding a Neteller online casino or one of the Skrill casinos is the easy part; the costs sit in bonus terms that can refuse a wallet deposit and in the wallets' own fee tables.

This guide is for players outside the US, mainly in the UK, Ireland and New Zealand. Every wallet fee below comes from the wallets' own pages, checked on 27 October 2026.

How Neteller and Skrill work at online casinos

An e-wallet holds money between your bank and the casino. You load the wallet by bank transfer or card, pay the casino from that balance, and take winnings back to the same balance before moving them to your bank. The casino sees your wallet account rather than your card or bank details, and it still runs its own identity check before it pays out. At Rizk that check took 10 hours on our test account; at Betsafe it took 14.

Ownership is shared but the accounts aren't: Paysafe runs both brands, yet each wallet has its own login and its own fee table.

A UK-licensed casino isn't allowed to take credit-card money that arrives through a wallet. The UK Gambling Commission's licence condition 6.1.2 has barred licensed operators from taking payment for gambling by credit card since 14 April 2020, and the condition reaches payments made through a money service business such as an e-wallet. The Commission told operators to accept wallet payments only where the provider can stop credit-card money being used to gamble.

Ireland now has a similar rule. Section 165 of the Gambling Regulation Act 2024 stops licensees accepting credit-card payment for gambling, including electronic payments loaded from a credit card, and it came into operation on 5 February 2026 under S.I. No. 31 of 2026. Skrill's own fee page adds a separate warning: a card issuer may treat a gambling-related card top-up as a cash advance and charge for it. For how the wallets compare with cards, bank transfers and crypto, see our casino payment methods compared.

Online casinos with Neteller and Skrill

Of the 40 active casinos in our review data, 33 list both wallets, Mr Green lists Neteller without Skrill, and Party Casino lists Skrill without Neteller. The table below lists four casinos we have affiliate deals with, each holding a UK Gambling Commission licence we found active on the public register on 27 October 2026, plus the two brands where we have timed an e-wallet withdrawal. Several offshore-licensed casinos in our data take both wallets as well; they're left out because none of them holds a UK licence.

A UK licence only tells you about Great Britain. If you play from Ireland or New Zealand, check which licence the casino holds for your country before you open an account.

Neteller and Skrill casino deposits and withdrawals, step by step

The order of these steps matters more than the clicks, because a first withdrawal waits on the casino's identity check.

  1. Verify your casino account before you deposit. Upload the ID and proof of address the casino asks for at sign-up, so the check isn't still running when you want your money.
  2. Read the welcome offer's payment clause (covered below) before you pick a method.
  3. In the cashier, choose Neteller or Skrill, enter the amount and approve the payment in the wallet's own login window. The balance should show at the casino straight away.
  4. To cash out, request the withdrawal to the same wallet. If the cashier won't offer the wallet you deposited with, ask support which route it will use and why before you confirm.
  5. Move the money from the wallet to your bank when it suits you. This is the step where the wallet's own fee applies, not the casino's.

If the cashier shows neither wallet, check that the wallet serves your country: Skrill's terms say some countries are not serviced and can change. Our guide to every casino deposit method explained covers the alternatives side by side.

How fast are Neteller and Skrill casino withdrawals? Our recorded tests

We have two timed e-wallet withdrawals on record, both at brands we don't earn from. Two tests is a small sample, so read them as examples rather than averages. The times run from the withdrawal request to the money showing in the wallet.

CasinoWalletTest periodTest amountsWithdrawal timeKYC
RizkNeteller in and out12 Feb to 10 Mar 2026EUR 25 deposit20 hours10 hours
BetsafeVisa or Skrill in, Skrill out20 Feb to 12 Apr 2026, re-test June 2026EUR 100 deposit; EUR 75 withdrawal, then EUR 60 on the re-test18 hours, re-test 11 hours14 hours

The Betsafe pair is the more useful result. The 18-hour first withdrawal ran past the 6 to 12 hour e-wallet window that Betsafe states, as listed in our review. Our June re-test came from an account that was already verified and landed inside it. That points to the first cashout being the slow one, which is why the first step in the list above is verifying early. Rizk's 20 hours was a single first withdrawal on a EUR 25 test deposit.

The full records, with the method and date for each brand, are in our Rizk review and Betsafe review, and our instant withdrawal casinos we have timed page puts them next to the card, PayPal and Interac results.

Neteller and Skrill casino bonuses: when e-wallet deposits don't count

A casino can accept your Neteller deposit in the cashier and still give you no bonus for it, if the offer's terms list Neteller or Skrill among the payment methods that don't qualify. Look for the clause in the welcome offer's own terms, usually under the qualifying deposit or the excluded payment methods. Read it on the version of the site for your country, because the wording can differ between markets. If both wallets are named, you can use a payment method the terms accept for that first deposit, skip the offer and keep the wallet, or ask support in writing before you deposit and keep the reply.

Skipping the bonus costs less than it sounds: a matched bonus with heavy wagering is worth much less than its headline figure. Our guide on how to read casino bonus terms shows where the wagering, expiry and payment clauses sit, so you can judge the offer before deciding which way to pay.

Fees, limits and minimum deposits

The casino side can be free: Betsafe, for one, charges no fee on Skrill or Neteller withdrawals according to our review. The wallets do charge, mostly at either end: loading by card, moving money back to a bank, and converting currency. These are the figures from each wallet's English fee page on 27 October 2026.

FeeNetellerSkrill
Load from a bank0% to 1% (local bank deposit)0% (bank transfer)
Load by Visa or Mastercard2.5%Up to 1.25%
Withdraw to a bank account1.75%, minimum USD 3.501.75%, minimum EUR 3.50
Currency conversionUp to 3.99%3.99% plus Skrill's exchange rate
Send to the other wallet3.49% (to Skrill)3.49% (to Neteller)
InactivityUSD 5 a month after 6 months with no login or transactionEUR 5 a month after 6 months with no login or transaction

Those pages are the global English versions. Your account's own fee page is the one that binds you, so check it after you sign up. Currency conversion is the easiest fee to miss: if your wallet runs in pounds and the casino in euros, the conversion fee can apply on the way in and again on the way out. Holding the wallet in the same currency as the casino account avoids both.

Casino minimum deposits and withdrawal limits vary by site and country, so we don't print them here: the cashier shows the current Neteller or Skrill minimum before you confirm, and the limits sit in each casino's banking terms. Watch the inactivity charge too. A wallet opened for one casino and then left alone for six months starts losing EUR 5 or USD 5 a month.

Neteller vs Skrill for casino players

On the fee pages the two are close. Bank withdrawals cost 1.75% on both, conversion costs up to 3.99% on both, and either wallet charges 3.49% to send money to the other. The clearest gap is loading by card: up to 1.25% at Skrill against 2.5% at Neteller. If you fund the wallet by bank transfer, that gap disappears.

So the choice usually comes down to the casino. Pick the wallet your casino's cashier lists in your country, check the bonus clause, and use one wallet rather than both so you aren't paying the 3.49% transfer between them. If a casino takes neither, our PayPal casino sites guide covers that wallet instead.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. A casino withdrawal goes back to your Neteller balance, and from there you can send it to your bank account. Neteller's English fee page, checked on 27 October 2026, lists 1.75% for a bank transfer withdrawal with a minimum fee of USD 3.50, plus a foreign exchange fee of up to 3.99% if the money changes currency on the way.
No, but they share an owner. Paysafe's website lists Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited as trading under both names, and both trademarks belong to Skrill Limited. You still open two separate accounts, and each wallet has its own fee table. Sending money from one wallet to the other costs 3.49% in either direction, according to both fee pages on 27 October 2026.
Neteller is a regulated payments brand. Paysafe's website lists Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited, which trades as Neteller and Skrill, as regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland, and lists Skrill Limited (FRN 900001) and Paysafe Financial Services Limited (FRN 900015) as authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011. We checked those listings on 27 October 2026.
Only if the offer's terms allow it. A casino can accept a Neteller deposit in the cashier and still exclude it from the welcome bonus. Find the qualifying deposit or excluded payment methods clause in the offer's terms for your country. If Neteller is named there, pay that first deposit another way, skip the bonus, or get the casino's answer in writing before you deposit.
Editorial summary
Neteller and Skrill are easy to find at a cashier and cheap to use if you load them by bank transfer and keep one currency. The two costs worth checking come before the first deposit: the bonus clause, which can refuse a wallet deposit, and the wallet's 1.75% fee for moving winnings to your bank. Our timed e-wallet cashouts took 11 to 20 hours, so plan for the next day rather than the next hour. For the sites that paid quickest across every method we tested, see our fastest payout casinos.
